Have you ever heard the story of the Atocha?

In 1622, the Spanish galleon Atocha was destroyed on a coral reef by a massive hurricane near Key West, Florida. The ship was carrying a treasure trove of gold and silver bars, and emeralds.

Miraculously, after 15 years of searching, treasure hunter Mel Fisher discovered the wreck and began to bring Atocha’s precious cargo to the surface. Wanting to share his find with the world, Mr. Fisher has created replica coins made from actual silver bars found in Atocha’s wreckage.
